I am using my photography page to show you how awesome my 6 year old's Sonic the Hedgehog birthday party was. I searched and searched for ideas on Pinterest only to find a few ideas... So, here is what I came up with:

We had a photo booth with Sonic props! I also found some props at Walmart that were fun!

The birthday boy loved it!

I used a cricut cartridge called Indie Art for the chaos emeralds on the table.Cricut Cartridge - Gem

Found these lanterns at Dollar Tree!

These boxes are from Oriental Trading. They come with stickers to personalize, but the stickers are not on the boxes. Perfect for this party!Gem Shaped Boxes

Bags are from Hobby Lobby. I used an online image of Sonic, cut it out with an exacto knife. The Thank You font is Sonic Nice.

These were a labor of love! They took so long to make, but they were super adorable! I loved them because I don't like kids beating up a piñata and scrambling after candy. This way, everyone was happy!
Inside the piñatas were individually wrapped life savers. Perfect Sonic rings!

Gem Pinata's

We had coney dogs (Sonic's favorite) for dinner.

I cooked the hot dogs in a crock pot on low for 4 hours
in one can of chicken broth.

Once they were done, I put them in buns and wrapped them in foil.

Then they were put in coolers to stay warm.

Chili was in a crock pot and onion and cheese on the side.

Red and blue kool aid to drink!

I found these small styrofoam rings at hobby lobby and painted them yellow.

We set up an Xbox for the kids to play Sonic racing!

Pin the Tails on Tails was a huge hit!

I made the poster from some online images and had it printed at Walgreens poster size
